Connor Cook Reaches 50 Caps

On Saturday, June 11th, Connor Cook became the twenty-third player in Major League Rugby to appear in 50 matches. 

 

The Flanker from Hawai'i began playing rugby with Waimea Rugby Club while playing football as well. He originally went to University of Redlands to play football but soon would transfer to Arkansas State to return to rugby.

While at Arkansas State, Cook won the 2012 and 2013 Collegiate 7s Championship and was a finalist in the 2012 D1A National Championship. Cook was recognized as a Collegiate All-America in 2014 before moving to Denver, CO where he played senior rugby in the Pacific Rugby Premiership with the Glendale Raptors. He stayed with the Raptors through their first three seasons of MLR.

Over his five years in Major League Rugby, Cook has scored six Tries.

Major League Rugby is honoring the first 50 players to reach 50 caps, and their role in building the legacy of MLR. The latest of the first twenty-two players to reach 50 caps for MLR includes Nathan Sylvia of San Diego Legion, Cam Dolan and Devin Short of NOLA Gold.
