Join the Arrows 2020 Holiday Party Live Stream Extravaganza
An invite from the Toronto Arrows:
As we wind down the year, there’s nothing we’d love more than to have a big ol’ holiday gathering with our fans. You know, the kind of bash with catchy music, loud laughs (and sweaters!), and all-around good cheer.
But, yeah… the whole ‘2020’ thing continues to throw a bit of a wrench in our best-laid plans.
…so instead of grumpin’ around, we’re making the best of it — and we want you right there with us!
All Arrows fans from Victoria to St. John’s, Iqaluit to Montevideo, Auckland to Cork, and everywhere in between, are cordially invited to join us on Friday, Dec. 18 for the Toronto Arrows 2020 Christmas Party Live Stream Extravaganza! (because all great parties have elaborate, over-the-top names, right?)
The festivities will include:
- a Christmas carol parody competition
- a special Christmas message from Toronto Arrows President and General Partner Bill Webb
- a round of Bullseye Trivia — The Christmas Edition
- a live DJ, spinning Christmas classics to get you in the yuletide spirit
- our Matchday Series virtual beer garden
- …and a special visit from Santa Claus himself!
So grab your ugliest Christmas sweater, a Santa hat or reindeer antlers, and a glass of your noggiest eggnog as we get ready to celebrate the holidays in style.
The good cheer will kick off at 7PM ET on Toronto’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
CHRISTMAS CAROL PARODY COMPETITION
Here comes Ferguson, here comes Ferguson, right down Ferguson Lane
Brouwer and Sheppard and all the forwards smashin’ the whole game
Q is bargin’, Cole is chargin’, Rumball’s causin’ a fright
So clear a path or face his wrath, ’cause Fergie’s scoring tonight
Not our finest work, but hey, it’s a start!
Think you can one-up us when it comes to carol writing? Send your best (or worst!) Arrows Christmas carol parodies to xmas@torontoarrows.com before 6PM on Dec. 18!
Winners will be read (or sung!) out loud on our live stream, and the top three will receive prize packs that feature Arrows fan merch and products from our Matchday Series craft brewery partners.
BULLSEYE TRIVIA
Expect the unexpected, from general knowledge questions about music, TV and history with a splash of rugby thrown in for good measure! Contestants can join via any computer or mobile device connected to the internet, and prizes will be awarded to top finishers.
Tune in via the live stream and play alongside Arrows players and fans alike by visiting https://crowd.live/ shortly before the trivia kicks off. When you arrive at the Crowdpurr website, you’ll be prompted to enter a Trivia Room code — stay tuned… we’ll announce our Trivia Room code during the live stream!
