Luke White Reaches 50 Caps

On Sunday, May 8th Luke White became the thirteenth player in Major League Rugby to take the pitch for 50 matches. Born and raised in Sydney Australia, White has become a mainstay in North American rugby. Prior to moving to the US he began coaching rugby at St Aloysius and St Ignatius College.

White moved to the US to play with the Glendale Raptors in 2015. He soon became Captain of the Glendale Raptors in their second MLR season in 2019 where he had the most carries and racked up the most meters gained by a forward in the competition. In 2021 White joined the LA Giltinis where he helped the side win the Championship title their inaugural season.

Major League Rugby is honoring the first 50 players to reach 50 caps, and their role in building the legacy of MLR. The latest of the first thirteen players to reach 50 caps for MLR includes Riekert Hattingh of the Seattle Seawolves and Lance Williams, Mika Kruse  and Saia 'Uhila of the Utah Warriors.
