Major League Rugby and FOX Sports Announce National TV Schedule
DALLAS (February 4, 2022) – Major League Rugby (MLR) and FOX Sports today announced their national television schedule for the fifth season of competition. The premier North American rugby league will nationally broadcast select matches beginning the weekend of February 5 on FS1 and FS2. FOX Sports will also carry the MLR Championship Final, which is set to be held the weekend of June 25.
Opening weekend of the 18-week regular season will feature NOLA Gold hosting the New England Free Jacks on Saturday, February 5 at 9:00 PM ET on FS2. The following weekend features the Austin Gilgronis hosting Old Glory DC on Saturday, February 12 at 8:30 PM ET on FS1. The Austin Gilgronis were also recently featured in a six-part docuseries titled “Inside the Scrum” that aired on FS2.
