Major League Rugby and FOX Sports Announce National TV Schedule

DALLAS (January 4, 2023) –  Major League Rugby (MLR) and FOX Sports today announced their national television schedule for the sixth season of competition. The premier North American rugby league will nationally broadcast select matches beginning the weekend of February 18 on FS1 and FS2.

Opening weekend of the 18-week regular season will feature San Diego Legion hosting the Utah Warriors at Snapdragon Stadium on Saturday, February 18 at 7:00 PM ET on FS2. The Seattle Seawolves will host the New York Ironworkers at 9:30 PM ET on FS1. 

“Having FOX Sports as the national television broadcaster for Major League Rugby this season is an exciting opportunity, allowing us to meet the demand of growing interest in rugby and introduce the sport to entirely new fans,” said MLR Commissioner George Killebrew. “We are excited about the extensive reach and coverage MLR will have through FOX Sports, making for an unforgettable sixth season.”

Saturday, February 18: San Diego Legion vs. Utah Warriors, 7:00 PM ET, FS2

Saturday, February 18: Seattle Seawolves vs. New York Ironworkers, 9:30 PM ET, FS1

Saturday, February 25: Houston SaberCats vs. NOLA Gold, 9:00 PM ET, FS2

Saturday, March 11: Chicago Hounds vs. Toronto Arrows, 8:00 PM ET, FS2

Saturday, March 18: Old Glory DC vs. Toronto Arrows, 7:00 PM ET, FS2

Saturday, March 31: Utah Warriors vs. New England Free Jacks, 9:30 PM ET, FS2

All matches not televised nationally on FS1/FS2 are available for everyone to stream live and for free on TheRugbyNetwork.com. All matches originally airing on FOX Sports are available to stream following a 24-hour delay on The Rugby Network®*. International fans can stream all matches live and for free on The Rugby Network.
