MLR Movember
A competition is surging across MLR as the athletes have been tasked with growing a mo with a message. This November, all of the MLR teams are competing against one another to see who can grow the best mo’s, and who can raise the most money for Movember. Funds raised by Movember are used to collaborate with the world’s sharpest minds and best researchers to create effective treatment, innovative support solutions and easily accessible resources for men.
Throughout Movember MLR athletes are using their platforms to speak out about the importance of mental health and have open and honest conversations. 2020 has been an interesting year to say the least, so it’s more important than ever before to check in on teammates, family, and friends to discuss mental health. MLR athletes are leading the way, and calling on everyone else in the rugby community to get involved, reach out to their loved ones, raise some funds, and maybe even grow a mo!
