DALLAS – Major League Rugby (MLR), North America’s highest rugby competition, announced the results of the 2026 MLR College Draft on Thursday.

All three rounds of picks were announced on the 2026 MLR College Draft Show, broadcast live on the USMLR YouTube Channel. The 2026 MLR College Draft order was determined by regular season standings and playoff performance, and each round consisted of four to five picks.

Round 1*

2 (2) Seattle Seawolves – Solomon Williams, Scrumhalf, University of California, Berkeley

3 (3) California Legion – Coby Baker, Center, Cal Poly SLO

The 2026 MLR College Draft was the seventh in league history, as Life University, the University of California, Berkeley and Saint Mary’s College of California continued their legacies of producing MLR talent.

Logan Ballinger, one of two picks from Life University, was selected first overall by Old Glory DC. A Delray Beach, Fl., product who came up through the Boca Buccaneers club system starting in 2014, he's built his reputation on strong hands and work over the ball at the breakdown.

With Old Glory DC’s pick in the second round, Mario Storti and Eric Storti became the second set of brothers to be drafted into the league.

California selected Solomon Williams, a scrumhalf from the University of California, Berkeley, who earned First Team All-American honors three times and is the 2026 Rudy Scholz Award winner for college rugby's top individual honor.
