OLLI SALUMERIA NAMED THE OFFICIAL PROTEIN SNACK OF MAJOR LEAGUE RUGBY

DALLAS (February 1, 2022) – Entering its fifth season, Major League Rugby (MLR) has announced a three-year partnership with Olli Salumeria to become the Official Protein Snack of the league. The partnership will celebrate the mutual values of history and tradition between the brands in addition to incorporating the Olli product range across the entire league and teams’ day to day operations.

“We are ecstatic to welcome Olli Salumeria to the Major League Rugby family,” said MLR Commissioner George Killebrew. “As the highest standard of rugby in North America, we are always seeking to partner with best-in-class brands who are on the same growth path as us. Olli will provide an essential protein source for our players in addition to unique fan engagement initiatives”

From wine, meat and cheese events in VIP areas of select matches to custom content on MLR social media pages, Olli plans to quickly make its presence known around the rugby community. The Official Protein Snack of MLR also plans to sponsor post-match meals and host player tours at their San Diego factory. Moreover, the salami brand will supply a wide range of post-workout meals and travel snack packages to all MLR organizations to be incorporated into their players’ regular routines.
