Rhino Rugby Returns as the Official Ball for MLR’s 2023 Season
DALLAS (February 3, 2023) – Major League Rugby (MLR) has announced that Rhino Rugby will remain the Official Ball and Preferred Equipment Supplier for the 2023 season. Extending a partnership that began in 2020, MLR is excited to continue the partnership through the 2023 MLR season.
“We are proud to represent North America’s highest level of rugby competition. As such, the ability to provide first-class equipment and balls to our athletes is of the utmost importance,” said Chief Commercial Officer Harry Hardy. “Rhino Rugby is unrivaled in quality and technical expertise, and we are thrilled to partner with them for the 2023 MLR season.”
Currently the official ball of Rugby Europe and Asia Rugby and domestically used in the Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC) the past several years, the Vortex Elite ball will continue to be used by all 12 teams as the official MLR match ball. Its unsurpassed high-quality construction features Rhino’s signature Aerosensa Technology, a patented laminate that includes unique aerodynamic properties. Rhino has also provided Hurricane practice balls as well as their new Recyclone training balls, which are part of their new Recycled Rugby Ball range, a new first of its kind green initiative.
