Rugby Now Inks Three-Year Deal with Major League Rugby

DALLAS (February 4, 2022) – Major League Rugby (MLR) announces a three-year partnership with Rugby Now, the U.S. based parent company of The Rugby Shop UK. Launching as “Rugby Now” in the United States, the premium rugby ecommerce platform will power the ShopMLR.com retail experience catering to all rugby apparel and equipment needs for players and fans.

“Given Rugby Now’s global experience in catering to the core rugby fan this partnership was a natural fit for us as we seek to engage with our fans in more meaningful ways,” said MLR Commissioner George Killebrew. “We believe that the exclusive retail partnership will fuel our growth as we are able to offer even more branded options for our fans.”

The partnership with Rugby Now will begin with a soft launch of ShopMLR.com, coinciding with the start of the 2022 season offering select fan gear and will ramp up as the season progresses.
