Devin Short was one of Major League Rugby’s original players and a fan favorite long before most of America knew his face from reality TV. Then NBC’s Married at First Sight turned him into “Rugby Guy,” and his career took a turn almost nobody saw coming.

In the latest episode of Inside MLR’s Where Are They Now?, MLR Broadcast’s Will Hooley sits down with Devin for an honest, unfiltered look at the road that got him there.

The conversation starts with his path through American rugby and the league's early days, from the San Diego Legion to New Orleans to the Seattle Seawolves. Devin is candid about the highs and lows along the way, including the disappointment of never getting the chance to play for the USA.

From there, he walks through how he was approached to join Married at First Sight, what went on behind the scenes of the show, and whether love at first sight is really possible. He also talks about how reality TV changed his life and opened doors he never expected.
