San Diego Legion Announce Establishment of Legion Rugby Foundation and Academy
San Diego, CA.— The San Diego Legion, a Major League Rugby franchise, announced the creation of the Legion Rugby Foundation along with the Legion Rugby Academy. The Foundation is established as a 501c3 charitable corporation dedicated to the education, development and promotion of youth rugby in the San Diego Community.
As part of the Foundation, the Legion Academy will provide services, support and activation to bring more awareness and hands on experience with the sport. Offering youth rugby camps, high-performance training as well as individual player and team coaching provided by professional San Diego Legion players. Additionally, the Foundation will be working with the San Diego School Districts to introduce non-contact flag rugby in Elementary and Middle schools throughout the county.

Mike Teo and Ryan Matyas, both USA Rugby (Eagles) players will be joining Test, and the Academy, as High-Performance coaches with additional announcements in the coming weeks.
