Men's Eagles travel to France to resume Nations Cup

A quick turnaround from last week’s Friday Night Lights in New Jersey, the USA Men’s Eagles' final selection was confirmed for the player pool to travel overseas for the final phase of the 2026 Nations Cup.

After an intensive 2-week training block on home soil complete with contests against Australia XV, the USA Eagles now look ahead to the final three-match European leg of the Nations Cup tour this November, taking on Hong Kong China in France, before traveling east to face Romania and Georgia.

Resuming their Nations Cup campaign, the Eagles will build on the momentum generated earlier this year, when they went undefeated on home soil with victories over Portugal, Spain, and Zimbabwe.

To bridge the gap after their recent tour of Japan and sharpen execution for this final leg, the Eagles completed a high-intensity domestic training block anchored by two matches against Australia XV in Nashville and New Jersey.

This gave the coaching staff an opportunity to stress-test unit depth, maintain match-ready conditioning, and solidify tactical cohesion against strong opposition ahead of these three consecutive test weeks in Europe.

The USA kicks off in France against Hong Kong, China, this Sunday, November 8th. All three matches will be broadcast live on Paramount+.
