The USA Men will join the Women's Eagles as part of a home double header series kicking off Saturday, October 24th. Tickets to see both the Men’s and Women’s squads play in Nashville, and just six days later in New Jersey on October 30th are on sale now here. All matches will be streamed live on Paramount+.
Head Coach Scott Lawrence and staff have confirmed the 35-player extended player pool that will be eligible for these warm-up matches as he finalizes selection for the team that will depart the next day and travel to France, Georgia and Romania for the final leg of their Nations Cup campaign.
The squad features a blend of international experience with players included currently on their developmental journey to earning their Eagles cap.
This two-match series serves as a test building block, bridging the development period which followed their recent Pacific Nations Cup in Japan with game-time exposure as they refine the squad for their upcoming European tour - and ultimately next year’s Rugby World Cup allowing players in developing phases of their Eagles career to get game time in a USA line up.
Speaking on the upcoming home series, Head Coach Scott Lawrence commented;
“The USA XV provides an important opportunity to expand our player pool, reintegrate players returning from injury, and continue developing emerging talent with the potential to contribute to the Eagles in 2027 and beyond. It also gives domestic players a valuable platform to demonstrate their readiness to compete for opportunities within our wider national team program, including the November Nations Cup series.”
Immediately following the second fixture against Australia XV, the USA Eagles will head overseas for the November international window where the Nations Cup will resume after the USA’s undefeated openers on home soil this summer against Portugal, Zimbabwe and Spain. November’s Test matches against Hong Kong, Romania, and Georgia will complete the Eagles' 2026 Nations Cup campaign kicking off in France where the Eagles will play Hong Kong on November 6th. All matches will be broadcast live on Paramount+.
