On Saturday, April 9th Holden Yungert became the fifth player in Major League Rugby to take the pitch for 50 matches.
Yungert began playing Rugby with the North Bay Rugby Club and Marin Highlanders. He went on to play at St Mary's College winning D1A National Championships in 2013, 2014, and 2017 and won the Collegiate 7s National Championship in 2016.

In 2018, Yungert’s accolades earned him a selection on the USA Rugby Selects in the Americas Pacific Challenge. The team traveled to Montevideo, Uruguay to finish second in the tournament with wins against Canada and Uruguay.
Yungert debuted in Major League Rugby's inaugural match in 2018 for the NOLA Gold. In 2019 he started all 16 matches for the Gold and continued to play for the Gold through the 2021 season before joining the Free Jacks in 2022.

Major League Rugby is honoring the first 50 players to reach 50 caps, and their role in building the legacy of MLR. The first four players to reach 50 caps for MLR were Angus McLellan of the Utah Warriors, Tim Metcher of the Seattle Seawolves, Sam Windsor and Dylan Fawsitt of Rugby New York.
